If you love
nature and want more than just riding in circles and doing figure
eights in a ring, then riding at Mountain Glen Stables may be what
you are looking for. We have over 800 acres of woodland, field, and
streams with miles and miles of trails. Here you can gallop on farm
roads amongst wetlands and ponds as flocks of Canada geese take
flight. Or you can canter along the edges of hayfields, trot along
woodland trails on the historic slopes of Little Mountain or explore
the books and ravines that feed the Chagrin River. You may even
just want to walk and wonder at the beauty of the wildflowers that
fill the meadows.
-
You may want
to keep your horse here because we have HUGE pastures for turn out,
not cramped and muddy paddocks. Your horse actually gets to act and
play like, well, a horse. And you get turnout and care seven (7)
days a week. Our stable manager, Holly, has been with us for over
20 years. She knows and loves horses and will be keeping careful
notice of how your horse is doing.

If you would like
to ride once or twice a week but not have the full expense of horse
ownership, our Time Share Horse Leasing may be just right for you. We
offer 1/3 and 1/2 horse leases for the year. For those exploring the
idea of leasing, a one time 3 month trial lease is available.
- We do NOT do trail rides
by the hour. We are here for you and your horse and not for the one
time rider.
